For seven years, I produced a local sketch comedy show in which I also wrote and co-starred in for 7 years. The cast was comprised of close friends, who each shared a passion to be comedically stupid on television. Simply called "Funny Stuff", the show garnered local and minor national attention. Through which I was contracted to do several comedic productions, mostly notable for the MTV 2007 Movie Awards website.
- Season One began Friday, October 13th, 2000 at 11:00 PM on WCOX-9 (Roanoke, VA). One new show would premiere each month (typically running four weeks at a time).
- Season Two, "Funny Stuff" shifted to a more upscale time period - Tuesdays at 10:00 PM.
- Beginning with Season Four, "Funny Stuff" relocated to Roanoke's VIN channel where it occupied the Wednesday at 10:30 PM timeslot.
- Our final season was an attempt to launch "Funny Stuff" into syndication and was mostly comprised of our best sketches with a few new pieces; airing Thursdays at 7:30 PM on Valley Vision TV. Unfortunately, negotiations fell through and the final episode (the first produced for syndication) never aired.
